Still Not Sure What Support Should Look Like?

Reading about someone’s experience doesn’t always make the next step clearer — sometimes it raises more questions. That’s okay.

If it would help to talk things through quietly, without pressure or expectations, you’re welcome to reach out. We can start with a short, confidential conversation — just a chance to see whether working together feels right.

You don’t need to decide anything today.

Recovery Coaching

Looking for a recovery coach in Vancouver isn’t the same as looking for treatment.

You’re looking for someone who can meet you where you are — and walk with you through changes in your drinking or drug use, in real time.

Treatment programs interrupt a crisis. They separate you from the supply, and often from your family, your work, and your daily life.

They have a place — but this is different.

What a Recovery Coach Actually Does

I work with people one-to-one around their drinking or drug use — in real time, not just in scheduled sessions.

This isn’t something that exists once a week in an office.

It happens in the middle of your life — where the decisions are actually being made.

That can look like:

• Regular conversations (in person or remote)
• Support during difficult moments or decisions
• Helping you stay clear when things feel uncertain
• Building structure that fits your actual life
• Being someone you can speak honestly with, without needing to perform

This isn’t therapy.
It’s not treatment.
It’s a working relationship.

Who This Is For

Most people I work with are still functioning in their lives — work, family, responsibilities.

They’ve started to notice something isn’t quite right.

They don’t want a program.

They don’t want a label.

They want a clear, private way to understand what’s happening — and decide what to do next.

This Isn’t Treatment

There’s no intake process here.
No program to follow.

No one deciding what your recovery — or your relationship with drinking or drug use — should look like.

This is one person working with another — consistently, honestly, and over time.

I bring lived experience, perspective, and a steady presence.
You bring your life as it actually is.

That’s where real change starts.

Recovery Coaching in Vancouver

I’ve lived in Vancouver my entire life.

I meet clients in person when it makes sense — for a walk, a coffee, or a conversation that doesn’t feel clinical or removed.

This is local, personal support — grounded in real life here in Vancouver.

Start with a Conversation

Start with a conversation.

You don’t need to have a plan.

You don’t need to explain everything perfectly.

We’ll talk through what’s going on — and figure out the next step together.

Recovery doesn’t happen all at once — and it rarely happens alone.

Having someone beside you can bring steadiness, perspective, and relief when things feel uncertain. Recovery coaching isn’t about fixing you or telling you what to do. It’s about walking with you as you regain clarity, confidence, and a sense of direction — at your own pace.

You don’t have to decide anything today.
